
ZTE has officially announced the Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 Mini smartphone, today.The Nubia Z9 Max is the company’s first smartphone that runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Both the smartphones run Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Nubia UI 2.8.

The Nubia Z9 Max features a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution (protected by Gorilla Glass 3). It is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. The Nubia Z9 Max is made out of aluminum, and it will ship with a 2,900mAh battery. On camera front, it features 16-megapixel CMOS camera (F/2.0 aperture) which a LED flash, and on the front of the device you get an 8-megapixel camera(1.4um pixel size, 80-degree view). The Nubia Z9 Mini features a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080, 441 PPI) display and 2GB of RAM. Unlike the Nubia Z9 Max, this handset is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor which ships with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. Both of these handsets come with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed with ZTE’s Nubia UI 2.8 on top of Google’s operating system.
